Manama: The Royal Endurance Team achieved a new global milestone after the horse 'Bolt de Venelles' topped the 2025 Juniors and Young Riders World Rankings issued by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports, reinforcing the team's standing on the international stage.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, presented a shield and certificate of excellence to Royal Endurance Team coach Jaafar Merza in recognition of his technical and administrative efforts that contributed to the achievement.
The rankings also included Royal Endurance Team rider Isa Hameed Al Anezi, who secured third place globally in the juniors and young riders category for 2025 and received his award from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad.
On the occasion, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad said that the results reflect the Royal Endurance Team's professional approach and ongoing efforts to enhance the Kingdom of Bahrain's standing in international competitions. His Highness noted that focusing on junior and youth categories represents an investment in the future of endurance sport. He commended the efforts of the technical and administrative teams and said that further efforts will continue to build on current achievements and secure additional successes.
