Royal care for youth empowerment hailed

The Good Word Society has today hosted the final ceremony of the second youth leadership initiative, which is spearheaded by Cabinet Affairs Ministry Undersecretary His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa.

Held under the auspices of HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, also Good Word Society Honorary Chairman, the ceremony was also attended by Social Development Minister Osama bin Ahmed Al Asfoor, Dr. Bader Malallah, Director General of Arab Planning Institute (API) and other leading figures.

During the ceremony, diploma certificates were handed over to 90 young men and women participating in the initiative. Five projects have also won a training grant from the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait.

Addressing the ceremony, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing royal visions and aspirations to promote youth initiatives.

He praised the efforts of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to hone the skills of youth and engage youngsters in nation building efforts, in line with the 2030 Bahrain Economic Vision.

He paid homage to late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, valuing the directives of HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Advisor to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He praised the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman, GSA Chairman and BOC President, to empower Bahraini youth and hone their creative skills.
