Ankara: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia inaugurated Riyadh Season 2025 with a grand opening parade held between Kingdom Arena and Boulevard World (BLVD World), marking the start of the sixth edition of the annual event amid a large public turnout.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Alshaikh, Chairman of the Board of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and Advisor at the Royal Court, announced the opening of the season.
The parade, broadcast live on more than 12 television channels and media platforms, featured international performances with the participation of local and global troupes, in addition to giant balloons presented for the first time in the Kingdom. The event concluded with colourful smoke effects in the season's logo colours, accompanied by artistic and musical processions that created a festive atmosphere.
Riyadh Season 2025 will continue over the coming months with a range of international events that further strengthen the capital's position as a leading entertainment destination, combining authenticity and innovation in the global events industry.
