A key focus of their discussion was the recently reached agreement to end the war in Gaza, which is viewed as a historic milestone for peace in the Middle East and the world.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the call, HRH Prince Salman conveyed gratitude on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and himself to President Donald Trump for his steadfast support for peace in the region and his pivotal role in facilitating this landmark agreement. HRH Prince Salman reiterated the Kingdom's support for the agreement, emphasizing the necessity for all involved parties to uphold their commitments to ensure its successful implementation.
The Crown Prince praised the mediators whose roles were crucial in achieving the agreement. The conversation also highlighted the robust Bahrain-US relations, with both parties acknowledging the ongoing strengthening of their partnership through strategic cooperation and recent joint agreements, such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).
