Manama: Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), recently met with Dr. Shaikha Haifa bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Bahrain (UoB). The meeting aimed to discuss ways to strengthen community partnerships and enhance cooperation between RHF and the university to support student innovation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions concentrated on the organization of a design and planning competition specifically for engineering students. This initiative is intended to allow students to contribute innovative ideas for the foundation's future projects. The competition seeks to cultivate creativity among students and instill humanitarian values through their participation.
Additionally, it was announced that incentive awards would be provided to the winning project. These awards are designed to encourage students to develop exceptional engineering concepts that align with RHF's mission and humanitarian objectives.
