RHF Launches Fifth Edition of Sovereign Art Foundation Charity Award

Manama: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and in the presence of Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), the Foundation launched the fifth edition of the Sovereign Art Foundation Charity Award. The event, held at the Art Station in Muharraq, brought together 200 students from private schools and universities.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa commended the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad and emphasized RHF's commitment to expanding community initiatives, promoting social responsibility, and advancing a comprehensive approach to humanitarian work. He highlighted that the participation of students through art contributes significantly to RHF's charitable efforts.

Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa explained that internal competitions were organized at participating schools and universities to select artworks for the final exhibition, which is scheduled to be held on April 21 at Marassi Galleria. Winners across various academic stages will be selected by a dedicated judging panel.

The winning artworks will be showcased at a charity auction during a gala dinner on April 30, with proceeds allocated to RHF's health and education projects. In conclusion, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa expressed appreciation to the Sovereign Art Foundation for its continued partnership and extended thanks to the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), the sponsors, educational institutions, and all participating students for their contributions.
