RHF and UTB Forge Strategic Partnership for Academic and Social Collaboration

Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has entered into a cooperation agreement with the University of Bahrain Technology (UTB), focusing on key areas of academic, cultural, and social collaboration. The memorandum of understanding was formalized by Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the RHF, and Dr. Hassan Ali Al Mulla, President of UTB.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement outlines several cooperation domains, including the provision of scholarships for students supported by the RHF, support for RHF initiatives to expand humanitarian work, and the organization of lectures and workshops in fields such as human and social development, alongside the application of technology across various sectors.

The agreement further promotes volunteerism through student participation in RHF activities and enhances collaboration in education and research by utilizing the university's academic expertise to engage students in addressing humanitarian issues. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa emphasized RHF's dedication to partnerships that improve the quality of life for beneficiaries, particularly in education, viewing the collaboration with UTB as a pathway for students to access quality education that aligns with their aspirations.

Dr. Al Mulla praised RHF's efforts to realize the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in empowering individuals and preserving their dignity. He noted that the agreement reflects the university's commitment to social responsibility and its role in advancing Bahrain's national development goals as part of the Economic Vision 2030. Furthermore, he highlighted the university's initiatives to provide inclusive education and support ambitious students in accessing quality higher education.

Dr. Al Mulla expressed that the partnership embodies shared values and reinforces the principle of social responsibility central to the university's mission, marking a significant investment in the Kingdom's future and its upcoming generations.
