RHF and Lamar Holding Sign Agreement to Aid Productive Families and Healthcare Programmes

Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has entered into a cooperation agreement with Lamar Holding Company to bolster specialised programmes for productive families and enhance healthcare services for the Foundation's beneficiaries, which include orphans and widows. The agreement was formalised by Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the RHF, and Dr. Lina Mustafa Nour Al-Din, Chairwoman of Lamar Holding.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement encompasses financial support for the medical treatment of Bahraini orphans and widows associated with the RHF. It also extends aid to productive families linked to the foundation by providing tools, equipment, and training courses aimed at enhancing their skills.

Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa expressed appreciation for Lamar Holding's contributions to supporting widows and orphans through various projects managed by the RHF. He underscored the foundation's pride in this collaboration, noting that Lamar Holding is a model of effective support for sustainable humanitarian work, and emphasized the significant role of the private sector in fostering social development.

Dr. Nour Al-Din reiterated Lamar Holding's dedication to backing initiatives that have a tangible impact on the lives of RHF beneficiaries and assist productive families. She stressed the importance of promoting solidarity and sustainability within Bahraini society.

Lamar Holding is recognized as a prominent supporter of developmental charity work, with an extensive 13-year history of contributions. The company has been involved in numerous important initiatives, including purchasing artwork from RHF students to support the closing ceremony of the Sovereign Foundation Award, thereby adding cultural and humanitarian value to the partnership. Additionally, Lamar Holding has supported the "Iftar for Fasting" campaign and the "Netaj Khair Bahrain" project.
