Manama: Ibrahim Dalhan Al Dosari, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), received Gerd Mller, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), on the sidelines of the 6th World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum (WEIF 2026). The meeting focused on cooperation and coordination in developing and supporting home-based enterprises.
According to Bahrain News Agency, discussions also addressed the enhancement of the “Nitaj Khair Al Bahrain” programmes aimed at empowering productive families. The talks included strategies to improve efficiency, expand marketing opportunities, and strengthen sustainability for these families.
Al Dosari presented RHF’s initiatives focused on economic empowerment, highlighting efforts to assist families in becoming self-reliant through specialised training programmes. These initiatives aim to transition families from dependency to productivity.
Mller praised RHF’s programmes and its commitment to advancing family empowerment systems. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in achieving sustainable development, enhancing employment, and providing income opportunities for families, ultimately leading to economic stability.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Hashim Hussein, Head of the UNIDO Regional Office in Bahrain.
