Manama: Ebrahim Mohammed Abul, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), affirmed that Bahraini women have demonstrated their expertise as strategic partners in developing the real estate sector, commended their contributions and continued efforts in supporting real estate progress in the Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Abul noted that the strong support extended to Bahraini women by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has positively impacted all sectors, including real estate, where women now hold leadership roles and participate effectively in specialised fields such as brokerage, valuation, property management, and owners' associations, in addition to their growing presence in development companies. He also highlighted the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which reflects the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing women's participation in its comprehensive development through initiatives that empower and advance them.
Abul commended the role of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King, describing it as a key pillar in advancing Bahraini women through initiatives that strengthen their presence across sectors and expand opportunities for their participation in national development.
He emphasised that Bahraini women have demonstrated strong competitiveness and professional capability in the real estate profession, making their contributions integral to shaping the future of this vital sector. He added that RERA is committed to supporting female talent and providing opportunities for professional excellence.
Abul expressed the Authority's pride in its active female workforce, who contribute to leading teams and decision-making, affirming its commitment to a supportive and sustainable work environment that enhances women's development and competitiveness, in line with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030 and its roadmap for a more prosperous and diversified future.
