Riffa: The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) announced the opening of applications for media professionals seeking permits to cover the 2025-2026 horseracing season. Registration will remain open from September 25 to October 9, 2025.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the new season will commence on October 31 at the club's racecourse in Riffa, featuring a programme of local and international races approved as part of the official calendar.
Key highlights will include the Bahrain International Trophy on November 14, the Crown Prince's Cup Festival on January 29-30, 2026, and His Majesty the King's Cup Festival on March 5-6, 2026, with the season concluding on April 17, 2026.
The club stated that the accreditation process aims to facilitate the work of local and international media outlets by enabling early coverage, reflecting the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to consolidating its standing on the global horseracing map.
