Regional conference to help chart safer health path towards future

A region conference that aims to contribute to improving the future of regional health and to chart a safer path by maximizing benefits from experiences from the COVID-19 pandemic will be held on Monday.

The two-day conference, organized by the Khalidiya Youth Association, will be held virtually under the patronage of the Chairman of the Shura Council Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh under the theme “Towards a Safe Future”.

Al Saleh praised the efforts made by civil society organizations and their commitment to national responsibility towards researching and studying the health challenges that emerged after the spread of the coronavirus pandemic worldwide and looking into ways to learn from them.

Research, studies and scientific discussions between experts and specialists in various medical fields will develop ambitious visions and perceptions for a safe health and social future, he said.

Initiatives led by civil society organizations to hold specialized conferences constitute support for the efforts made by Bahrain to address the coronavirus pandemic, he added.

Al Saleh praised the keenness of the Khalidiya Youth Society to attract doctors and specialists from Bahrain and abroad to discuss important topics to strengthen the health system in Bahrain.
