A telephone call was held today between His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the newly appointed Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, Ret. General Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
During the call HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulated Ret. General Sheikh Ahmad on his appointment wished him every success in his role serving the national interests of Kuwait and its citizens.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the depth of longstanding ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait, which continue to receive the support of both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
His Royal Highness and Ret. General Sheikh Ahmed also discussed ways to further develop cooperation and coordination across areas of shared interest.
