Qatar Condemns Iranian Attacks Targeting Jordan and UAE

Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the renewed Iranian attacks that have targeted the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with missiles and the United Arab Emirates with a drone. These actions have been described as a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries, as well as a breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighbourliness.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern over the continued attacks, highlighting them as a dangerous escalation that could complicate efforts to manage tensions in the region. The ministry warned that such actions could undermine political and diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving security and stability.

It urged all involved parties to avoid any actions that could further escalate the situation. The ministry also emphasized the importance of returning to dialogue and negotiations, adhering to understandings achieved through diplomatic efforts.

In its statement, the ministry reaffirmed Qatar's solidarity with Jordan and the UAE, expressing support for all measures undertaken by both countries to protect their sovereignty and security.
