Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq Al Hassan, has extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President, on the 20th anniversary of the SCW.
He highlighted that Bahraini women had been partners in the national accomplishments, especially during the reform era of HM the King.
He valued the distinguished and pioneering role of the SCW in the last 20 years in empowering females through many initiatives and projects.
The Chief said that fortunately, the occasion coincides with the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Women Police.
He said that female personnel are supported by the Interior Minister for their role in reinforcing security.
He also valued the education and training opportunities provided to females to empower them to carry out their various policing duties with efficiency.
He concluded by highlighting that the Women Police is considered one of the foundations for security and stability in the community by protecting national security.
