Medina: The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has implemented an extensive multilingual guidance service at the Prophet's Mosque, aiming to assist pilgrims during the Hajj season. This initiative involves the participation of 60 translators who provide services in 20 international languages, ensuring round-the-clock assistance for visitors. According to Bahrain News Agency, service points have been strategically placed at key locations within the mosque, including Gate 41 in the visitation area. Additionally, multiple locations in the women's section are specifically staffed by female translators to cater to the needs of female visitors. The authority is leveraging modern technology, utilizing translation devices and smartphone applications to enhance communication with worshippers and visitors. This technological integration allows for effective interaction in various languages, ensuring that all visitors can access the guidance they require. The services offered are comprehensive, covering time-based guidance related to prayer schedules, lessons, lectures, and visits to museums and exhibitions. Furthermore, cultural guidance is provided, offering historical and cultural insights about the Prophet's Mosque and its services. The authority reported that 344,626 individuals benefited from these multilingual guidance services between Dhul Qadah 1 and Dhul Hijjah 3, with an average of 10,443 individuals receiving assistance daily. The authority remains committed to enhancing the guidance and language services at the Prophet's Mosque, aiming to facilitate smoother visitor movement and enrich the spiritual and cultural experiences of all who visit.
