Manama: Primary Healthcare Centres have actively participated in National Tree Week, aligning with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Abdulwahab Mohammed Abdulwahab, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Primary Healthcare Centres, Dr. Lulwa Rashid Showaiter, Deputy Chairperson, and Dr. Ijlal Faisal Al Alawi, Chief Executive Officer, took part in tree-planting activities at Hoora Health Centre in the Capital Governorate.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this initiative is part of Bahrain's national afforestation plan, which targets the planting of 3.6 million trees by 2035. The plan is a significant component of the Kingdom's broader vision to achieve carbon neutrality by the year 2060.
