Manama: Dr. Abdulwahab Mohammed, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Primary Healthcare Centres, emphasised that the Bahraini Council for Health Studies and Specialities' institutional accreditation by the Arab Board of Health Specialisations is a significant national achievement, reflecting the ongoing efforts to advance medical education and specialist training in the Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this accomplishment comes as part of Bahrain's comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Dr. Abdulwahab noted that the accreditation demonstrates Bahrain's commitment to regional and international standards and strengthens the Bahraini Board's reputation as a leading institution for training qualified medical professionals.
Dr. Ejlal Faisal Al Alawi, CEO of Primary Healthcare Centres, stated that the Arab Board's accreditation is a historic milestone for health education in Bahrain and indicates regional recognition of the Kingdom's educational infrastructure and skilled professionals. She mentioned that this step will help Bahrain become a recognised regional centre for training doctors, supporting the long-term strength of the healthcare system.
Dr. Al Alawi also pointed out that this achievement will enhance partnerships with regional and international medical institutions and improve the skills of national staff, who are vital for providing safe, high-quality healthcare.
