Pakistani Premier receives Speaker

Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan, praised growing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan. He commended the kingdom’s active role in boosting regional and international relations and promoting international peace and security. He lauded Bahrain’s civilizational initiatives to serve humanity, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The Pakistani Prime Minister praised the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in boosting the Bahraini-Pakistani relations and cooperation. He also lauded the kingdom’s distinguished achievement in combating the coronavirus pandemic. He also stressed his country’s keenness to further enhance bilateral cooperation in the economic and investment fields.

The Pakistani Premier was speaking as he received today in the Pakistani capital Speaker of the Representatives Council, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal and her accompanying delegation on the occasion of their official visit to Pakistan at an invitation by the Speaker of the National Assembly.

The Representatives Council Speaker conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She commended Pakistan’s supportive stances to Bahrain and keenness on joint cooperation to deter terrorism and safeguard regional security and stability. She also underlined the importance of joint parliamentary diplomacy to coordinate stances in international gatherings to support the issues of both countries as well as Islamic and humanitarian ones.
