Manama: The organising committee of the Nasser bin Hamad Cycling Tour for Amateurs has revealed that more than BD41,000 will be awarded as prize money in the event's fifth edition. Scheduled to take place from November 5-8, the tour is being organised by the Bahrain Cycling Association in collaboration with Faalyat Company.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the announcement seeks to build on the success of previous editions and to boost community involvement in one of the Kingdom of Bahrain's premier amateur sporting events. The substantial prize fund is designed to foster fair competition among participants from various categories and acknowledge their dedication, thereby contributing to the advancement of cycling both locally and across the Gulf region.
