Manama: Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 completed 1,000 days of continuous humanitarian work in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, reflecting the sustained humanitarian approach of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
According to Bahrain News Agency, since its launch on November 5, 2023, the operation provided an integrated humanitarian response combining emergency relief, healthcare, logistical support, and recovery and rehabilitation programmes, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
The UAE delivered humanitarian assistance worth more than US$3.89 billion, including over 126,000 tonnes of relief, medical, and food supplies transported through more than 770 flights, 25 ships, and over 13,000 trucks.
