Manama: Ghada Hameed Habib, Secretary-General of the Ombuds Office, received Elizabeth Litchfield, the Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in technical support and advanced training programmes, aiming to improve skills development and the application of international standards within institutional work frameworks.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Shaikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director of the International Cooperation and Development Directorate at the Ombuds Office. Both parties highlighted the importance of maintaining coordination to support national capacity development. This is to be achieved through the use of professional and standards-based expertise from partner institutions in the United States.
