Muscat: The Omani-Bahraini Bazaar commenced at Oman Avenues Mall in Muscat, inaugurated by Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman. The event witnessed the presence of Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Oman, along with Rudaina bint Amer Al Hajriyah, Chairwoman of the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the exhibition is organized by the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association in collaboration with Bahrain's Embassy in Oman. Running until March 26, it features 30 exhibitors, with 17 from Oman and 13 from Bahrain, showcasing a wide array of products such as clothing, perfumes, traditional sweets, accessories, and handicrafts that represent the cultural heritage of both nations.

The event seeks to strengthen the ties between Bahrain and Oman, support entrepreneurs, and foster job creation and trade partnerships. It is aligned with the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040, emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship in driving economic growth.

Al Kaabi remarked that the bazaar's organization underscores Bahrain's commitment to supporting entrepreneurship. He also pointed out that the event is a testament to the enduring relationship between the two countries, furthering the outcomes of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's visit to Oman earlier in January.

Al Hajriyah stated that the bazaar is a product of joint efforts between the embassy and the association. She emphasized that the event plays a role in the economic development of both countries by aiding entrepreneurs and SME owners, with the goal of invigorating commercial and economic exchanges between Bahrain and Oman.
