Manama: Oil prices steadied on Saturday after a volatile week but recorded their largest weekly losses since June, weighed by increased supply. Brent crude rose 0.2% to $66.59 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate remained at $63.88. Over the week, Brent fell 4.4% and WTI dropped 5.1%.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the losses followed an OPEC+ decision to raise production by 547,000 barrels per day in September, boosting supply and exerting pressure on global market prices.
