Oil Prices Steady Ahead of OPEC+ Meeting.

Tokyo: Oil prices steadied on Wednesday, ahead of Sunday's OPEC+ meeting of producers. Brent crude futures rose 5 cents to $72.86 a barrel by 0415 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures were up 3 cents at $68.80 a barrel. According to Bahrain News Agency, OPEC+ sources indicated that the group is discussing a further delay to a planned oil output hike that was due to start in January. This discussion comes in anticipation of a December 1 meeting to decide the policy for early 2025. The potential delay in the output hike reflects the group's cautious approach in managing oil supply amid fluctuating global demand and market conditions.
