Oil Minister Participates in 41st OPEC and Non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting

Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, participated in the 41st Ministerial Meeting of the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC oil-producing countries (OPEC+), held via video conference. The meeting reviewed the latest developments in global oil and energy markets and discussed issues of common interest related to market conditions and future prospects, supporting efforts to enhance the balance of global oil markets and strengthen coordination and consultation among producing countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Bin Daina underscored the importance of continuing coordination and consultation among oil-producing countries to support the stability and balance of global energy markets. He noted that the meeting provided an important platform to discuss the latest developments related to global energy supply security, the implications of current geopolitical developments on international markets, and means to ensure the continuity and reliability of energy supplies in support of global economic growth.

Dr. Bin Daina commended the key role of OPEC and its partners within OPEC+ in reinforcing the stability of global oil markets and promoting cooperation and joint coordination. The Oil Minister said that the organisation's efforts have contributed to enhancing the resilience of energy markets and their ability to address emerging challenges and rapid changes, serving the interests of producers and consumers while supporting global energy security and sustainability.
