Nasser Vocational Training Centre (NVTC) Executive Director Dr. Abdulla bin Nasser Alnoaimi received Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Chief Executive Officer Noof Abdulrahman Jamsheer and the accompanying delegation at the NVTC headquarters in Jau.
The two sides discussed cooperation to develop job seekers’ skillins through the NVTC training programmes, highlighting plans to turn the centre into a comprehensive educational city.
Dr. Alnoaimi stressed keenness on coordinating efforts to support national development through community partnerships and contribute to providing the labour market with capable and distinguished educational outputs.
He underlined the support of His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, NVTC Chairman, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Jamsheer also stressed LMRA’s cooperation with the centre to introduce standards and requirements for practising a number of professions, with the aim of enhancing quality and competitiveness and maintaining an efficient and labour market.
The delegation toured NVTC facilities and were briefed about the latest machines and technologies that hone students’ skills, in addition to classes, sports facilities and artificial intelligence workshops.
