Manama: Ali bin Abdul Hussain Al Asfoor, Northern Governor, met with Ibrahim Ahmed Al Fadhala, Director of Social Welfare at the Ministry of Social Development, to discuss preparations for the launch of a summer programme designed to support individuals with autism. Organised in collaboration with the Bahrain Autistic Society, the programme aims to provide an inclusive environment to help participants develop their skills and engage in purposeful activities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting addressed means to enhance cooperation in community support, including assistance for families affected by emergencies and the provision of temporary shelter during crises. Plans were reviewed for an upcoming summer awareness campaign focused on household safety.
Al Fadhala commended the Governorate's efforts to support youth and individuals with special needs, noting the Ministry's commitment to strengthening cooperation in support of social care and protection.
