Northern Governor Ali Abdulhussein Al Asfoor hosted a majlis and received dignitaries and citizens, in the presence of Deputy Governor and Northern Police deputy director-general.
The Governor stressed the importance of ensuring the success of the elections to achieve the goals of the reform project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Addressing the majlis, he stressed the importance of commitment to integrity and responsible freedom to further cerement national unity and avert electoral crimes.
Northern Municipality Head of Monitoring and Inspection Hisham Al-Abbasi shed light on the electoral campaigning law and the types of violations that the candidates may commit.
The Northern Governor also received Bahraini photographer and TV director Hassan Al-Samahiji, who gave him a copy of his TV production
