Manama: Ali Abdul Hussain Al Asfoor, the Northern Governor, accompanied by the Deputy Governor, conducted an inspection tour of several Ashoora processions within the governorate.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Asfoor praised the efforts made by official bodies, led by the Ministry of Interior, alongside community organizations, heads of matams, organizers, mourners, volunteers, and paramedics. Their cooperation and discipline played a crucial role in the success of the events and demonstrated a strong sense of social responsibility.
He emphasized the significance of the educational and guidance role that religious discourse should have during the Ashoora season. This role has a positive impact on raising awareness among youth and guiding them towards proper behavior by delivering constructive messages that reinforce moral values and address negative behaviors. Al Asfoor advocated for expanding this educational role beyond a single season, aiming to prepare an educated and aware generation capable of serving their country and society responsibly.
He noted that the governorate, in coordination with various official and community bodies, continues its efforts to create a suitable environment for observing the occasion within a framework of public order and safety. He highlighted the ongoing field monitoring to ensure the safety of participants.
