Manama: Hassan Abdullah Al Madani, Northern Governor, chaired a meeting of the governorate's security committee, attended by Director General of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate Brigadier Saleh Rashid Al Dossari, Deputy Governor Brigadier Abdullah Ali Rashid Maanter, and several committee members.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the governor began by commending the Ministry of Interior's role in safeguarding lives and property and its continued efforts to enhance security and stability. He highlighted the importance of role integration in contributing to societal welfare and community protection.
The meeting focused on measures to ensure student safety around schools with the start of the new academic year. Discussions included raising awareness among bus drivers and security personnel on traffic safety and preventive procedures. The committee also reviewed a traffic plan aimed at reducing peak hour congestion and ensuring smooth traffic flow.
The governor reiterated the governorate's commitment to promoting community awareness and strengthening cooperation between security agencies and residents. This initiative reflects a sense of national responsibility and serves the public interest.
