Bahrain and Egypt Sign MoU to Enhance Social Collaboration

Cairo: During the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, to Egypt, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to bolster social cooperation between the two nations. The agreement marks a significant step in enhancing bilateral ties and fostering development in social sectors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU was signed by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ahmed Kouchouk, Egypt's Minister of Finance. The signing ceremony underscored the commitment of both governments to work together in various social fields.

Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Bahrain's Minister of Social Development, emphasized the longstanding historical relationship between Bahrain and Egypt. He highlighted the mutual desire to fortify bilateral cooperation to support development in both countries and to explore strategic partnerships in social and developmental areas.

The MoU is aimed at strengthening cooperation frameworks and facilitating joint initiatives between Bahrain's Ministry of Social Development and Egypt's Ministry of Social Solidarity. This collaboration seeks to broaden the exchange of expertise and experiences, contributing to the comprehensive development and progress for both nations and their citizens.
