Manama: The Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company ("Mumtalakat"), the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced the appointment of Noora Abdulrahman Jamsheer as Chief Executive Officer of Synergy Shared Services Company ("Synergy"), a Mumtalakat portfolio company established to streamline operations and provide corporate support services across Mumtalakat's portfolio.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Jamsheer joins Synergy from the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT), where she served as Chief Executive Officer since 2019. She brings extensive leadership experience in the financial services, commodities, and international development sectors, having held senior roles at the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, the Dubai Diamond Exchange, and the United Nations Security Council Group of Experts.
Jamsheer holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Investments, and Economics from Babson College in the United States.
The establishment of Synergy reflects Mumtalakat's continued focus on enhancing portfolio performance through active ownership and creating sustainable long-term value. By consolidating specialised support functions within a single platform, Synergy enables portfolio companies to focus on their core businesses while benefiting from enhanced operational efficiency, professional expertise, and strengthened governance frameworks.
