Abu dhabi: The ninth Hamdan humanitarian ship, part of 'Gallant Knight 3' and organised in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, departed today from Khalifa Port (KIZAD) in Abu Dhabi bound for El Arish Port in Egypt, ahead of delivering its cargo of relief aid to the Gaza Strip.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the vessel carries 7,000 tonnes of food, medical and relief supplies, including 5,000 tonnes of food parcels, 1,900 tonnes of food items for community kitchens, 100 tonnes of medical tents, and five ambulances.
This step extends the UAE's humanitarian initiatives under 'Gallant Knight 3', reflecting its commitment to providing aid to those in need and affected, in cooperation with its charitable and humanitarian institutions.
