Manama: Ali Ahmed Al Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received Fiona Walker Doyle, the Deputy Head of Mission of the United Kingdom to Bahrain. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration between the two nations in the realm of human rights.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussion included an exchange of views on several topics of common interest. Both parties emphasized the importance of promoting and protecting human rights through cooperative efforts.

The meeting also highlighted the NIHR's ongoing initiatives to fulfill its responsibilities as outlined in its founding law. The dialogue underscored a commitment to furthering human rights objectives and fostering a stronger bilateral relationship in this area.
