Abu dhabi: The Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SPACE42, the UAE-based leader in AI-driven space technologies, listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange under the symbol SPACE42. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in developing joint research and applied projects in data analytics and artificial intelligence technologies.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU forms part of the Centre’s efforts to expand its regional partnerships with leading smart-technology companies and build an integrated innovation ecosystem, particularly in AI development. The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Nuaimi, CEO of the Nasser Science and Technology Centre, and Hassan Al Hosani, CEO of Smart Solutions at SPACE42.
The agreement includes the exchange of expertise and the development of data- and AI-based solutions to enhance sector efficiency, improve forecasting accuracy, and analyze space-related data, in addition to capacity building and developing national talent in these fields.
