Manama: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) participated in tree-planting activities. The event was attended by Rana Ibrahim Faqihi, Chief Executive Officer of the NBR, along with several officials.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative is part of Bahrain's National Afforestation Plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035. This effort aligns with the Kingdom's vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, demonstrating the Bureau's commitment to environmental sustainability and the preservation of natural resources.
