Manama: The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has been awarded the Best Cash Management Bank for 2025 at the Euromoney Transaction Banking Awards, recognizing its role in developing cash management solutions and enhancing digital capabilities in the corporate banking sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the award follows developments in the Bank’s transaction banking services, including the full launch of DigiCorp. This platform provides a unified interface for managing payments, collections, liquidity, supply chain finance, and treasury operations, aimed at improving operational efficiency for corporates.
NBB also introduced DigiConnect, a Host-to-Host integration solution for large corporates. This innovation enables automated workflows and direct processing of payments, allowing direct connection with financial and accounting systems through either file-based or API options.
The Bank’s service ecosystem is further bolstered by digital acceptance channels, including Point of Sale solutions, SoftPOS through the NBB GO application, a payment gateway, and cash deposit machines. These tools provide secure and flexible options for managing daily collections and deposits.
The award additionally acknowledges NBB’s efforts to expand regional and international partnerships, including collaborations with fintech providers in the GCC and global payment companies. These partnerships aim to enhance cash management and trade finance services, improve security, and expand merchant acquiring capabilities.
The Euromoney Transaction Banking Awards are among the most prominent global awards recognizing leading banks for innovation, client impact, and excellence in cash management, payments, trade finance, and banking technology. NBB’s recognition reflects its continued efforts to support the transition to a more efficient digital banking ecosystem in the Kingdom.
