Manama: The National Resilience Documentation Committee convened for its regular meeting under the leadership of Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, who serves as the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications. He also chairs the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) and leads the committee.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla highlighted that the Royal directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa serve as a foundational guide for the committee's mission to preserve the national memory and affirm Bahrain's authentic narrative. This narrative underscores the Kingdom's resilience, societal cohesion, and national unity.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla emphasized that the directive to preserve the national memory assigns a crucial responsibility to the committee. This involves creating comprehensive documentation that reflects Bahrain's resilience, the effectiveness of its institutions, and its capability to safeguard national achievements. Additionally, this documentation aims to provide future generations with a recorded history of the Kingdom's significant achievements in resilience.
He further stated that the National Resilience documentation record will act as a historical reference, preserving national accomplishments and fostering awareness of resilience, solidarity, and national unity. This effort aligns with the comprehensive development process spearheaded by His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
During the meeting, the committee assessed progress on national initiatives and projects, along with presentations on achievements across various documentation tracks. The meeting also highlighted the high level of coordination among relevant entities to ensure thorough documentation of facts and evidence, demonstrating the efficiency of national institutions in responding to Iranian attacks while continuing development efforts and safeguarding national achievements under various circumstances.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla concluded the meeting by affirming the committee's commitment to its national mandate, guided by the Royal directives. The goal is to complete the project in a manner that reflects Bahrain's stature and history, reinforcing values of loyalty, belonging, and national unity, ensuring that the National Resilience remains a lasting testament to the Kingdom's strength and resilience.
