Seoul: The Embassy of Bahrain in the Republic of Korea, in partnership with the Young Ambassadors Academy for Diplomacy of the Korean Culture Association, organized an educational event aimed at introducing the Kingdom of Bahrain to 120 middle and high school students. The initiative focused on enhancing the understanding of diplomacy and the significance of cultural exchange among Korean youth.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Saud Hassan Ali Al Nusuf, Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, delivered a presentation that highlighted Bahrain's history and its legacy in the gold and pearl trades, including pearl diving. He also discussed Bahrain's modern development and its position as a regional hub for business, technology, tourism, and investment. The Ambassador emphasized the role of diplomacy in fostering communication and mutual understanding between nations and people, stressing the importance of exposing younger generations to the histories, cultures, and experiences of different countries.
The event included presentations by Korean students on Bahrain's rich history and civilization, economic achievements, and its tourism sector. Students also explored Bahrain's social and recreational offerings. The event concluded with an engaging discussion, allowing students to share their knowledge of Bahrain and exchange views with the Ambassador on the role of diplomacy in enhancing international relations and understanding.
