National Guard Commander’s Golf Championship to Commence at Bahrain Golf Club

Riffa: The National Guard Commander General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa's Golf Championship is set to begin on Saturday at the Bahrain Golf Club in Riffa. The tournament, organized by the Bahrain Golf Club, will span two weeks and feature 70 players, including club members and golf enthusiasts from various categories across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the championship is a key event on the club's annual calendar and is a popular fixture among golfers. It marks the start of the new season, which will include more than ten tournaments throughout the year.

Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, President of the Bahrain Golf Club, expressed pride in hosting the tournament named after General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa. He stated that the event is a cherished annual tradition for the club's members and golf fans in Bahrain.

Al Nuaimi further highlighted that the championship initiates the club's new season, comprising local competitions and social activities aimed at promoting the sport within Bahrain. He emphasized the club's dedication to developing players' skills and maintaining high standards for the game, expressing gratitude to His Highness the National Guard Commander for his continuous support of golf in the country.
