Islamabad: General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, participated in the Pakistan Day celebration held at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, on the sidelines of the celebration, Gen. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa met with several dignitaries, to whom he conveyed the greetings and congratulations from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister. He extended their best wishes to Pakistan and its people for continued progress, prosperity, security, and stability on this significant national occasion.
Gen. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa also congratulated the government, armed forces, and people of Pakistan on Pakistan Day, expressing hopes for further growth, prosperity, peace, and stability for the country.
