National Guard Commander Meets Interior Minister to Discuss Security Cooperation

Manama: His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, received General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, in a meeting that underscored the importance of collaboration in maintaining the security and stability of the Kingdom.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, National Guard Staff Director, and Lieutenant General Tariq Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security. During the discussions, HH Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa highlighted the pivotal role played by the Ministry of Interior in safeguarding the nation and acknowledged the continuous support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The meeting also recognized the follow-up efforts by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.

The discussions focused on strengthening the cooperation and coordination between the National Guard and the Ministry of Interior to ensure comprehensive security and stability within the Kingdom. The discussions aimed at enhancing the synergy between the two entities, emphasizing a joint commitment to national security.

Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed gratitude towards HH Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa for his leadership in securing national achievements. He praised the National Guard personnel for their effectiveness in performing their duties alongside the Ministry of Interior, achieving high levels of efficiency and readiness.
