Manama: His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, along with Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, the National Guard Staff Director, conducted a field inspection of the National Guard units to evaluate their responsibilities in safeguarding the Kingdom’s security. This initiative is in collaboration with the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and the Ministry of Interior.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the inspection tour, His Highness was briefed on the operational roles of the units amidst current regional developments. Updates were provided on both operational and logistical readiness, highlighting the high morale and strong commitment of the personnel in executing their duties. His Highness praised the professionalism and competence of the National Guard personnel in effectively addressing various challenges to protect designated areas and counter potential threats.
Concluding the visit, His Highness expressed appreciation for the dedication and performance of all personnel, conveying the greetings and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. He affirmed that Bahrain’s armed forces and security agencies will continue to enhance their capabilities to ensure the Kingdom’s protection, safeguard its resources, and maintain the safety of its citizens and residents.
