Manama: His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, received Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
According to Bahrain News Agency, Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, the National Guard Staff Director, was present during the meeting. The National Guard Commander praised the ongoing cooperation between the National Guard and the BDF, which has led to the execution of several command and operational exercises and facilitated the exchange of expertise.
The discussions between the leaders covered topics of mutual interest and reviewed efforts to enhance military cooperation and coordination. This collaboration aims to bolster security and stability while protecting national achievements. The BDF's role in safeguarding the Kingdom's borders and maintaining its sovereignty was also acknowledged during the meeting.
