The curtain fell on the first National Day Padel Championship which was held at the Padel Arena.
Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa attended the tournament which attracted a number of professional and amateur players.
He stressed the commitment of the Southern Governorate to host such initiatives to celebrate national events, noting keenness on promoting awareness of the importance of sport and community partnership.
He stressed the importance of the championship which aimed to tap into promising talents and providing them the opportunities to show their capabilities.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed thanks to all the professional and amateur participants, as well as the organisers and supporting parties.
A total of 84 amateur and professional Padel players and 42 teams competed in the five-day championship.
