Manama: Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on Bahraini Women's Day, celebrated annually on December 1. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed commended the role of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim in supporting Bahraini women, which contributed to their presence and overall excellence in all sectors and their active and effective participation in the development of the Kingdom. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed commended the national achievements of Bahraini women, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the initiatives by the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to empower Bahraini women and become a key partner in the comprehensive development process. The Auditor General underscored the NAO's keenness to ensure women's equal rights and access to all career opportunities in auditing, which was part of the NAO's strategy to promote the principle of equal opportunities and gender balance, implement the national plan to incorporate women's needs, and provide an ideal work environment for women.
