“MyGov” App Introduces eServices Bundle for Ramadhan

Manama: In line with the continuous efforts of the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) to enhance the user experience of the MyGov app, a bundle of eServices and features has been added during the holy month of Ramadhan. This service facilitates seamless access for citizens and residents, reflecting iGA’s commitment to deliver eServices that meet users’ expectations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, citizens and residents can enable the Adhan sound notifications through simple steps: by selecting prayer timings on the app’s home page, then choosing the Adhan settings to customize this feature as their preference.

The iGA also explained that the MyGov app provides a range of other digital services, including the service to locate Ramadhan majlis across the governorates, alongside services offered in coordination with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments. These services include paying Zakat and charitable donations, locating mosques by governorate, prayer timings, Qibla direction, daily moon phase, and both Gregorian and Hijri calendars, in addition to the “Fa’el Khair” service provided in coordination with the Ministry of Interior through the app’s home page.

The iGA urges the public to update the MyGov app by visiting the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps or through iOS, Android, and Huawei app stores available on their smart devices.

For inquiries or more information about the MyGov app services, users can contact the Government Services Contact Centre at 80008001, submit suggestions or feedback through the national suggestion and complaints system “Tawasul” or Tawasul mobile app, and follow the latest updates via the Authority’s official social media accounts @igabahrain.
