Manama: Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture, examined the technical and logistical arrangements for the upcoming Bahrain International Agricultural and Animal Production Exhibition (Mara'ee 2025), which will take place under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from December 9 to 13.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Minister stated that this year's edition will underscore Bahrain's increasing emphasis on bolstering food security and advancing the agricultural and animal production sectors, in alignment with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The exhibition will present a comprehensive programme tailored for all age groups.
The Minister outlined that Mara'ee 2025 will feature an animal exhibition showcasing horses, camels, livestock, and birds, alongside an agricultural exhibition with various sections. This aims to provide visitors with an integrative experience connecting agricultural production with local heritage and highlighting the Kingdom's biodiversity.
The events will also include an arts and culture corner and entertainment sections, reflecting the national interest in agricultural and animal production. This offers a complete family experience, merging education, knowledge, and enjoyment.
He further highlighted that the exhibition has expanded in terms of both the number and area of exhibitors through local and international participation, signifying its continuous development. Mara'ee 2025 serves as a significant platform to display Bahrain's efforts in enhancing the agricultural and animal production sectors and reinforcing its status as a regional hub for innovation and investment in this crucial sector. The Minister invited the public to attend the exhibition and engage in the various activities available over the five-day event.
