Manama: Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, engaged in a meeting with Aref Ahmed Hajres, Chairman of the Bahrain Real Estate Development Association (BaPDA), along with board members, to explore avenues for enhanced cooperation between the ministry and the real estate development sector. The meeting aimed at aligning efforts to bolster Bahrain's urban development plans and improve service delivery to various stakeholders.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting also included Asim Abdullatif Abdulla, Undersecretary for Agriculture and Animal Wealth Affairs, and several ministry officials. The discussions centered on fostering collaboration and strengthening coordination to support urban development initiatives, streamline procedures, and elevate the quality of services for citizens, residents, and investors.
Minister Al Mubarak reiterated the ministry's commitment to building robust partnerships with the private sector, recognizing its pivotal role in sustainable development. He emphasized the significance of real estate developers in propelling the construction sector forward, stimulating investment, and supporting the Kingdom's broader development goals.
Hajres acknowledged the ministry's proactive engagement with BaPDA and highlighted the necessity of sustained collaboration to cultivate a favorable business and investment climate, furthering Bahrain's urban development agenda.
Additionally, BaPDA members took the opportunity to tour the historic Manama Municipality building and the Municipal Exhibition, which chronicles the progress of municipal work in Bahrain and illustrates significant achievements in the sector over the years.
